A scam is being perpetrated in the area where a caller tells the victim they won a prize. In order to collect the prize, the caller needs to pay a fee to the Indiana Co. Sheriff.
The Sheriff does not distribute any prizes on behalf of any organization.
If you receive such a call, do not respond or send any money. Hang up and block the number.
