From 2007 until 2012, Mr. Manzi served as an assistant district attorney in Bucks and Delaware Counties.  Throughout this time, he oversaw the prosecutions of thousands of cases, including several homicide cases.  Mr. Manzi was the lead prosecutor in over a hundred cases that went before a judge or a jury.

After moving back to Indiana with his wife and children, he worked in private practice until his election in 2019.

Over the past 23 years, Mr. Manzi has gained valuable experience in all aspect of the criminal justice system and brings to the District Attorney’s Office a well-rounded set of policies intended to hold criminal offenders accountable for their actions, stand up for victims’ rights, and to use evidence-based practices to help reduce crime.

Mr. Manzi believes that the criminal justice system is a team effort.  Since 2020, our team effort has resulted in many state and federal prosecution of serious offenders, including long state prison sentences for drug dealers. Our criminal justice community worked together to employ a law enforcement liaison to bridge the gap between mental health services and criminal justice needs.  New diversion programs have been implemented to promote evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment for first time offenders to reduce the risk of recidivism.

"My office is designed to serve the needs of the citizens of Indiana County.  We are proud of our community and will work diligently to protect everyone" - Bob Manzi
